Los Angeles, CA: Let Them All Talk is the forthcoming and first national release from California’s The Nervous Wreckords (features Brian Karscig of LOUIS XIV).
The album, their second full-length, is set to drop on September 25th and marks the band’s first release under the Knitting Factory Management umbrella.
Breakups, jealousy, beauty, swagger, sexual tension- all rolled into a record that sounds like a party you shouldn’t have missed.
While they may like being called “indie pop” it’s a shallow label that’s still hard to deny given the catchy guitar riffs, sassy lyrics, melodic choruses and mobilizing beats, but it doesn’t end there. Having recorded the whole record in Karscig’s home studio on a vintage Neve board with 60s and 70s gear, the band have a firm grip on their inspirational pieces invoking everything from T-Rex to the Stooges to Prince and AC/DC.
In the 2 years since their formation, the band has shared stages with a diverse array of notable artists, The Killers, Cee-Lo Green, Brandon Flowers, Florence and the Machine, Death Cab for Cutie, the Naked and Famous, just to name a few.
2012 was a good year for the Nervous Wreckords, as the band wrapped recording on Let Them All Talk, then toured the Caribbean with Weezer, Yuck, Antlers and Wavves and hit a late Spring tour of the US and Canada.
The Nervous Wreckords released their first full-length album, VALUMINIUM at the end of 2010. The album was more of a collection of home demos Karscig wanted to release before the band became the force that it has become as a live band, but still gave them a platform to open shows with such acts as Brandon Flowers and CEE LO Green in 2011, and landed songs from the record in commercials for Charlotte Russe and Victoria Secret, Music station placement on Virgin America and Delta Airlines, television show “The Buried Life” on MTV and the movie trailer for “Little Blue Pill”.
