Jack Littman is a prolific multi-instrumentalist writer-singer based out of Los Angeles, CA. His blend of electronics and acoustics, combined with an amazing storytelling ability, puts him in a category all of his own. His songs cover all stages of relationships, politics, and gettin’ funky. He has played with the likes of Tapes N Tapes, Avi Buffalo, Robert Francis and Busdriver and has just returned from a five week US tour, playing four FMLY festivals, and legendary venues such as Trunk Space in Arizona and the Knitting Factory Brooklyn.
Jack’s newest release, The Remedy, Vol. 1, will be released as a download in early February 2013. His previous EP, The Mixtape, garnered positive response across the blogosphere. Jack directs his own videos, the most recent being for the Mixtape track “Little Pretty Thing.” The video was exclusively premiered on the influential site LABuzzbands.com.

He just appeared on FortTV for The LA Fort, a new Co-Op in Downtown LA:
“His EP The Mixtape lives up to its name. There’s the dark yet poppy electro-driven ‘Sinking Ship’ to the playful Littman rapping on ‘Goochie Goo.’ Then in the song ‘Waiting’ he goes Flamenco style, plucking strings on a classical guitar. The Mixtape shows the extensive range of Littman’s music capability and further reminds us of his enormous talent. The young 20-something artist sounds much older than you would probably expect, thanks to his soulful voice.” Ash Elliot - The Vinyl District
“You can now put your headphones and go into the mix of folk, electronica and soul that this EP is, it certainly stands as one of the most beautiful of the findings year.” -Oh My Rockness
“Littman’s vocals don’t seem to match his youthful face, but then again, ‘Sinking Ship’ haunting grooves don’t exactly fit with their birthplace of Los Angeles. With an offbeat blend of thumping rhythms, soulful lyrics, and distorted horns, Littman creates an immediately ear catching sound that I am loving more an more with every listen.” Brandon Zev - The Burning Ear
